The Numark iDJ2 is the only iPod mixing console that provides full control of your music with real–time scratching (via two jog wheels), a stunning color screen and Numark's exclusive crate management. Keylock insures that DJs can easily change tempo without affecting pitch. The iDJ2 features a fresh and innovative new iPod docking system that allows users to play and mix two songs simultaneously from a single iPod without the need of a computer. Users can also hook up multiple mass storage devices including additional iPods, thumb drives, and external USB hard drives through rear panel USB ports. In addition to USB connectivity, the iDJ2 comes complete with line inputs for audio sources including a microphone, CD players and turntables.

This is an extraordinary mixing console and portable DJ system with professional DJ features like balanced outputs, pitch control, key lock, seamless looping, and full cueing. DJs can easily manage their music library using the iDJ2's highly intuitive graphic interface and the full-color LCD screen offers crystal-clear visual track–profiling.

iPod Direct Mode turns iDJ2 into the ultimate iPod player, allowing you play any music from your iPod, including songs purchased from the iTunes music store.

iDJ2's unique Crate feature allows easy organization of songs to be played and supports multiple file formats including MP3, WAV and AAC (unprotected). The iDJ2 also supports iPod docking and charging, to keep the music playing and the party going all night long.

We recommend you take the time to index all your tracks using the supplied Numark Librarian software when you first use your iDJ2. This will result in much faster loading times for your tracks.

Not sure it can be trusted to perform

works well but if music playing and you try to set up anything else it seems that the unit tends to lose the library and the music stops tried in numerous venues always the same, cannot trust it to keep playing. Once everything set up then it seems ok to use very easy.

Brilliant bit of kit

The IDJ2 is a brilliant bit of kit, it makes modile dj'ing a whole lot easier as I now have less cd's to carry. Only downfull is that it has frozen a few times. Although Numark have just updated the software so hopefully that will fix the little bugs out!

I Want One!!!

That's what I keep being told. Brilliant piece of kit which has attracted a lot of comments even from those who are not DJ's. On the whole very easy to use once you get the hang of it. I was out for the day. Came home to my 11 year old son who said he had accidentally touched itand then showed me all the things it could do. Only gripes are the time taken to load the library - 30,000 songs is taking the ebst part of a day; mine also jumped whilst playing and searching (maybe not a problem with less songs?) and I agree you need to practice. It is too easy to lose the next song and can take 15 seconds to load it back. Great service from djstore thanks!

Top Quality!

OMG!!!! this product is amazing!!! i havent bought one yet but i used it at PLASA 07 in earls court this year, wow! very easy to get an understanding of how to use it and sound quality is very good. The best bit... YOU ONLY NEED ONE IPOD! and there is no delay in loading or ANY latency. Quality Product when i get enough money ill buy one :D

it's an amazing bit of kit

I recieved the idj2 the day after i placed the order. I set it up, which i might add takes a matter of seconds, simply one power lead, plugged my ipod in and i was mixing away in minutes. I was expecting the mp3 scratching quality to be not as good as the real thing but it is as good as, it's actual real time scratching with no pauses. It has so many functions and abilities it's unbelievable. I would advise beginners to get a bit of practice in before using the idj2, however it's an amazing bit of kit. Well worth the money.
